Summer Solstice

Festival info.

Everything practical you need to know — camping, parking, toilets, what to bring. The site is rural, the vibes are easy. Read this before you set off.

Camping

Stay all weekend.

Camping is open from Friday morning until 3pm Sunday. Pitch your tent Friday, settle in for three days, then please be packed up and off-site by 3pm on Sunday so the team can clear the site by 6pm.

Bring your own tent, sleeping gear and warm layers — Lake District nights get cold even in June.

The exact site address is sent privately to all confirmed RSVPs by email.

Parking

On-site parking.

Free parking is available on site. Just follow the signs from the venue entrance — stewards will direct you.

If you can car-share with mates, please do — it saves space and saves the planet a little.

Parking is at your own risk. We can't be responsible for cars left overnight.

Toilets

Loos & washing.

Portaloos are dotted around the site, including by the camping area, near the stages, and by the field kitchen.

There'll be hand-washing stations at each toilet block. Bring your own toilet roll if you're fussy — we keep them topped up but festival loos are festival loos.

Food & Drink

Field Kitchen + Bar.

Field Kitchen serves hot food across all three days — veggie and vegan options every meal.

Bar De Cocktail handles drinks. Cards and cash both accepted.

You're welcome to bring your own food and drink for your tent — just no glass, please.

What to bring

The essentials.

Tent · sleeping bag · warm layers · waterproof · sun cream (yes, even up north) · torch · reusable water bottle · earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Phone signal is patchy — bring a power bank if you'll need it.

Access

Accessibility.

The site is rural and partly uneven underfoot. If you have specific access needs or questions, let us know in your RSVP form or email info@flatoutfestival.com and we'll do our best to accommodate.
